The Taste of Honey was started in 1990 by Talford Johnson, affectionately known as TJ to all.

TJ was a well respected businessman in the town of Hempstead Long Island. Tj was in the bar business for 28 years.

TJ departed this earth on April 7th 2003. He is dearly missed.

The Taste of Honey is now owned by TJs wife Jewel Johnson who is carrying on and building upon the legacy that her husband built.

The Mission of the Taste of Honey is simple

to all gentlemen and ladies who enter our establishment.
